Error when installing from extensions.gnome.org

Closed this issue · 4 comments

I tried to update the extension via extensions.gnome.org today, but got an error. Tried to reinstall, but again got an error. Unfortunately, I can't see any message, it just says error.

I'm on Fedora 36 with Gnome 42.2

Same here, same setup. It worked up until Gnome said there was an update and previously I was able to see errors when installing extensions, but this time no error shows and I don't know how to debug it.

extensions.gnome.org was recently having issues (I had a Bad Request error in the journalctl logs too), but it seems fixed now because I was just able to install from extensions.gnome.org fine (I was previously manually installed).

You can run journalctl -xe after trying to install the extension to see if some error still continues.

Today it works, I had it installed with an error yesterday and after a reboot, without doing any other action, it works and displays correctly in installed extensions.

Yes, updating works now!
