Should we keep the map scale contant?

Right now, it's set up to split values into 5 equal segments. Should we instead keep the key constant, so the generated images are more comparable to each other? The downside is that we'd have to update the scale, which I don't love.
Thinking about this more, I think my preference is to keep it as-is: meaning the map isn't going to overall get darker over time, but instead keep showing the relative concentrations of vaccinations and deaths. This lines up with what we're trying to say with this bot, to me, of keep an eye on distribution and disparity.
But I wanted to raise this as a point now to check in on!
