Hey beardypig,

  1. Is your plugin working on Kodi 18.x/19?

A Reddit comment says that a combo of mpv+ streamlink can resolve .m3u8 link changes on the fly, which youtube_dl or its derivative, kodi plugin.video.youtube cannot !

  1. What steps would be needed to update your plugin with the .m3u8 resolution feature if you don't have the time ?
