Cut and pasted from the google doc

  • Replace “about” page with something non-content-free.
  • Maybe put the current “curriculum” page there, and have the curriculum entry in the nav bar just go directly to the EDC site.
  • Remove content assessment links from the bottom of the AP CSP page.
  • Both PD pages need work. Probably the NYC nav bar entry should just go directly to the NYCDOE page.
  • On the Resources page (maybe elsewhere too that I didn’t notice) the downarrows should be rightarrows until clicked.
  • Also on Resources, don’t list the Piazza groups. Remember kids can read this site.
  • And I think “TED Talk” means “TEDx Talk.”
  • “Hardware compatible with Snap!” should be “External devices…” or something; at first I thought it meant “Will Snap! run on my Chromebook?”
  • AP CSP section in Resources != resource links in AP CSP main page. There should be only one of these lists. The Resource page should have a link to the APCSP page instead.
  • The “course materials for download” should say “Obsolete versions of course materials” or (better) just flushed.
  • The sample Snap! Projects at the bottom of the Resources page are kind of obsolete. Instead link to the sample projects on s.b.e
  • The NSF notice on the Privacy page should instead be on the front page (this is a requirement I think, anyway it has nothing to do with privacy).
  • The copyright notice at the bottom of every page is ill-formed. It should say “The Beauty and Joy of Computing © University of California” and should include the CC BY-NC-SA logo.
  • NSF support (footer): This should list both grant numbers: 1138596 and 1441075.

  • About>Meet the Team: The initial view is labelled "BJC Leadership" but has a funny selection for that heading, including employees at Berkeley and NCSU not at co-PI level, but not including co-PIs at NYCDOE and CSNYC. The first part could be solved by changing the word "leadership" to "staff" or "core staff" or something. For the second part, I'm CCing Aankit, Francisco, Michelle, and Leigh Ann so they'll reply-all with pictures and/or suggested wording.

  • The EDC section is missing Selim, CCed.

  • The Master Teachers section is missing a slew of NYC master teachers. Could one of the NYCDOE people supply names? Thanks.

  • (Minor: The Snap! Development section has some non-italicized exclamation points in people's bios.)

  • CS Principles: I'd put the EDC endorsement docs before the generic College Board docs.

  • PD>Non-NYC: There's a missing link to bjc.edc.org just before the "Why Choose BJC" heading.

  • Much of the stuff on this page also applies in NYC! It should be on a combined PD page that then branches off.

  • Under the "How much does it cost?" heading, it should say "no cost for public school teachers in the United States." (Don't say "NO" in all caps; say "no cost" in boldface instead.)
