PluginException in PyCharm 2023.2

Closed this issue · 3 comments

I've been using the plugin for about six months. As soon as I upgraded to PyCharm 2023.2 I get this stack trace in every project:

com.intellij.diagnostic.PluginException: No display name is specified for configurable uk.co.ben_gibson.git.link.ui.settings.DomainRegistrySettings in xml file;
specify it using 'displayName' or 'key' attribute to avoid necessity to load the configurable class when Settings dialog is opened [Plugin: uk.co.ben-gibson.remote.repository.mapper]

The plugin still works, but I have a flashing exclamation point in the lower right and I had to rebind my keyboard shortcut (which I will remind people you can do by searching the keymap for ben_gibson).

What version of the plugin are you using? That exception should have been fixed in v4.3.4

Sorry to bother you! I looked right at the changelog of "Fix project configurable display name error in 2023.2 EAP" and didn't realize it was for me, and had never updated a plugin before. Fixed.

Actually I think what happened is I saw "Unreleased" at the top of the changelog and thought it meant the changes were unreleased. If the changelog is created by hand, a "None" entry under Unreleased might clarify.
