TypeError: Cannot read property 'email_hash' of undefined

I'm still encountering that error from place to place. For example:

I haven't looked into it too much yet, but could it be because the avatar helper is not finding the correct user? Maybe the helper could fail silently in those cases instead of triggering the error?

So... I didn't finish it last night, but I I'll wrap it up today/tonight and send you a PR to update Telescope.
