Tunnel won't disconnect. Samsung Galaxy S with Froyo JPK ROM

Opened this issue · 2 comments

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start VPN connection to Cisco 3000 VPN concentrator
2. Select to Disconnect
3. Connection still present

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected result would be for the tunnel to drop, instead it remains live until
I bounce the network connection (eg. turn WiFi off and back on)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
v099 on Android 2.2 (Froyo) with JPK ROM

Please provide any additional information below.

Very impressed with the app but would be great if tunnels could be terminated
by the app instead of having to bounce the network layer

Same here,

I can kill the tunnels only by manually entering:
ps|grep vpn
kill -9 pid of vpnc
kill -9 pid of other vpn process.

Running VPN Connections v099 on Motorola Milestone, Android 2.1update (with
MR2.5) and rooted.

Also the message when connecting keeps saying Connection failed" and now
notifications show up.

Since I can connect and disconnect, I am very happy so far with the app! thanks.

Working: I have installed busybox in /system/xbin/ instead of /system/bin/.
