VPNC config option for "Domain" is missing from the GUI

Opened this issue · 5 comments

What steps will reproduce the problem?
Start VPN Connections GUI. No field to enter the domain (which in our case is
the Active Directory domain name).

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
A box with the domain name.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Eclair 2.1 Samsung Galaxy S with tun.ko module

Please provide any additional information below.
The command works in the shell, as one can enter the domain name:
/data/data/org.codeandroid.vpnc_frontend/files/vpnc --script
/data/data/org.codeandroid.vpnc_frontend/files/vpnc-script --no-detach --domain
bigcloggiesdomain

...But this option does not exist in the VPN Connections GUI.

Why is this important?
Many companies use Microsoft Active Directory, and we user base here requires
the domain name to authenticate. It works in VPNC but not in the GUI.

This is easy fix- hit menu and append this flag:
--domain [whatever your domain is]

Hi joshuaza...@gmail.com,

Yep, Android..@gmail.com is right. There is no Menu button in the application
that allows one to select the domain.

Please advise how you found this option: Which version are you using and how
did you find the Meun to enable this?

Regards.
