Hi,
This is not an issue. But would you be making a plugin for a very basic GPIO controls alone? Like switching them ON and OFF from HomeKit app.

I don't think that feature belongs in this plugin, but you can look at the code for this plugin to see how to interact with the gpio pins and do something similar...
