Superscript look very ugly on PT Sans

How it would look if the exponents had been written in superscript

Contoured by using "e notation" instead

It is worth pointing out that using inlined monospaced (Ubuntu Mono) for this is not really a good alternative as the background color change causes some jagged darker boxes.

I will try to use Open Sans and see if it helps at all.
