ClutterCairoTexture deprecation warnings are getting more and more dire. The ClutterCanvas API looks pretty much the same. It's just that the change will touch a lot of code.

Clutter itself is completely deprecated. The work of moving to a separated front/back for PatchElements enables moving off Clutter. I'm not going to invest more in this migration.
