Suggestion - Project Config

Exist one extension for ATOM (remote-sync, LINK: https://atom.io/packages/remote-sync), where this create a file (.remote-sync.json) with all FTP configs of that project.

For sftp-upload extensions, this method it's perfect.
A developer can open multiple projects and sync them with other people, e only need config in project folder.

I do not use brackets with sftp-upload at full time because this feature it's very important for my team.

We file the project folder, and with the SFTP, every developer need config the connection for the project, with ATOM and remote-sync this is unnecessary.
