[Feature Request] Custom Variables for Choises as Channels and Buses

Would it be possible to have custom variables in Choises for Channels and Buses? I know people are asking for Variables for every single setting in this repo, but I think the most important thing is to be able to use custom variables for everything and from there on you can build your own variables or feedbacks as necessary.
For example I could store one channel name in a custom variable and fade it with generic buttons or mute all the others etc.

I would greatly appreciate such a feature!
I’m writing a companion setup for my venue so even non-tech people can adjust volumes and it would be great to only have 2 buttons for volume control instead of 2 buttons for every needed channel!
