DCA Select

with the new DCA Spill Feature In FW 4.04 it would be great to be able to select DCAs, too. so one could access the DCA Spill from the stream deck.

Looking into it will need to test at church on our X32

I thought this would be easier than it actually is. I attempted to just add the DCAs to the selectable options but when I tested on the X32 it didn't work at all (makes sense though) what happened when I tried to select DCA 1 is that it selects Mono/Center instead (makes sense because the way I added the DCAs it places their options with the same index that the M/C had).

I will still look into this further but from what I can tell so far is the OSC command wont work for DCAs (because you can select when you have DCA Spill active) so I'm assuming there will be a new command to select DCAs but the documentation I'm using hasn't been updated yet

I see that this issue was raised a while ago so sorry that the wait has to be longer

Update: I contacts the author of the document I've been working from and got the latest version of the document from him. In it I found a new command for this but its buggy on the X32. On the right side it selects the DCA as a DCA Spill but on the left hand side nothing changes. If I select a DCA group on the console then switch it off from code it... clears it on the right hand side but the faders and screens on the left hand side do not reflect (strangely the select buttons reflect the correct channels)

I'm going to try contact Behringer or Midas about this bug and hopefully they fix it. This is a brand new feature though so its understandable that there are still bugs

Update: As promised I have opened a bug report on the XM32 Series Trello board to have this OSC command fixed
I forgot to mention I have feedbacks working for this but as described above the action doesn't work 100% and its a bug in the firmware sadly. If and when the fix it though I have the code ready to test and PR :)

Update: Bug accepted and will be looked at with the next update for the X32 🥳
