Status graphical display broken?

I haven't used this module for a long while, but I was just informed by a user that the status display doesn't work. They are getting just text and no graphics.
So, I just tried it, and after adding the Status display feedback, and it looks like it's only showing text, not graphics on the button. (The docs call them "Icons")

Working in stable release 3.1.2, but not in the beta 3.2.0+6544-beta
