Translate Facebook mentions to IRC pings (and vice versa?)

Facebook seems to be rolling out a new mention feature, whereby, in a group chat or room, typing @ followed by someone's name/nickname will linkify the name in the message and send that user a notification.
Right now, the plain text of the message is simply sent to the BitlBee user. It'd be great if:
- messages mentioning the BitlBee user are rewritten to show the BitlBee user's nick, and
- messages from the BitlBee user when addressing others by nick are rewritten to "mention" them (obeying translate_to_nicks?)
