Problem switching between fullscreen and windowed mode

Sometimes when switching between fullscreen and window mode the game doesn't respond to this change (preferences menu is instead distorted).

This occured since the preferences menu is scaled after the resolution that is set in the preferences. This was resolved by updating the resolution settings before updating the screen.
