making the 'basic sample' template auto open / close when page opens / closes.

Hey guys, I am new to turn.js and I have been messing around with the code and I am wondering if it is possible to make the flip book open/close automatically when you open/close the page itself.

I am currently tweaking the 'basic' template from the 'samples' folder so I would appreciate it if you told me where exactly to add the given code and what changes to do in this template (in which function or line).
