problem installing ie8 with winetricks

i have wine-1.3.24 on ubuntu 10.4.
i followed the steps on http://www.winehq.org/download/ubuntu
then i select winetricks from the menu, i select "default for wineprefix", then
i select "install a windows DLL or component" and then select ie8 and click OK,
it just goes back to the previous screen????? nothing happens...
can someone help please?

Winetricks now lives at winetricks.org.
Please try with version 201111115
(see http://code.google.com/p/winetricks/wiki/Installing )
