Few feature-requests/suggestions inside

First of all thank you so much for writing this. That's pretty much what I was looking for long time. I have a couple of suggestions you might want to consider (without necessarily increase complexity) for your next release:
-
Screen flashing
Gyms can be a noisy place. Often the 3 beeps at the end of the sub-repetition (This seems to be called Exercise within the program) are missed by myself. Would you consider having the device screen flashing while the 3 beeps are produced? E.g. rapidly turn the screen full white to then return where it was. -
Custom beeps
Allowing to globally set the number of beeps played before a new exercise starts within a repetition, could also be a good idea. Having internally a number of different beeps might also be very interesting. Some people workout at home so a gentle beep is enough, others go to noisy gyms and something more energetic might be needed. -
Make the app more "visible" while using other apps.
Allow to watch e.g. youtube and still play beeps (already happening) but perhaps the screen flashing in this scenario becomes even more important. Whatever it is to notify the end of the Exercise and the start of the new one is very much welcome here. Let's assume the user is not necessarily 100% of the time on the main screen. -
Add "Cool-down" button
Sometimes you run out of time or you feel more tired than usual and you might want to cool down earlier than planned. So I would add an "exit like" command that runs a definable cool down program e.g. countdown of N minutes. I would use this a lot :-) -
Allow to increase/decrease repetitions while the program is running
Opposite to the scenario above one day you might feel energetic and might decide while working out to attempt an extra repetition. So allowing the repetitions to be edited while the program is running would be much appreciated. -
Allow user to select count-down or count-up
Countdowns might not be for everybody although I would expect for the most. Still an option to count up could be appreciated by some users. -
Record workouts to check daily progression
This might be simpler than it sounds I would just be interested in how many minutes the app is in count-down every day. and a simple bar chart per day/week/month can help you check your progress. Nice to have only.
I might have more ideas but I'll stop here as I don't want this message to become overwhelming. Once again thank you so much for the effort, this is a very useful software.
