Migration path for existing applications

I'd like to use vgtk but I already started my application without it. Some possibility to gradually migrate would be greatly appreciated. Things that would help me out:

  • A possibility to run components that are not not top level (Application)
  • Interoperability with or conversion from Glade files
  • Possibility to mix in plain GTK objects into the tree
