No Trim path when exporting as SMIL SVG animation

After effects 2020 - Windows 10
I'm using the Bodymovin plugin in After effects to export an animation in SVG format. It does not recognize trim paths,
¿Is there any way to use that effect? I need it to be SVG, not JSON.

unfortunately there is not. In general, trim path doesn't translate well to a SMIL based animation

Is there another way of animating the growth of a path that the SVG export will support?
