The Zapier readme does not provide actionable guidance or insight. Are there any plans to increase the utility of the readme in the folder?

Yes that's something we have to improve! Contributions are welcome on this
The readme.md of integrations were changed since they were uploaded to the hub. The best option would be to have a readme.md for developers that want to contribute to integrations and a hub.md for the content displayed inside the hub.
