When is 5.0.x releasing ? Because 5.0.0 is super unstable on MacOs

I've become a huge fan of this app, and it's honestly replaced Apple Dictation for me. I primarily use it for speech-to-text and dictation purposes, mainly for taking notes. I've also integrated it with the Groq API, which I find to be incredibly fast. However, I've encountered some issues with the current release on macOS that I hope can be addressed.
Specifically, I've noticed that the shortcut doesn't work globally, and the microphone can be quite slow to load and start functioning. Occasionally, the text doesn't get pasted or even copied to the clipboard. When I keep the app floating on top, it sometimes behaves erratically. I've also experienced instances where the record button doesn't respond.
Despite these issues, I'm really impressed with the app's implementation and its overall potential. I would love to see these bugs ironed out, as I truly believe this app has the capacity to be a game-changer (especially in a market flooded with paid subscription based apps). I'm looking forward to seeing future updates and improvements. Please keep up the great work, and I'll be excited to continue using this app once these issues are resolved.
Settings -> General-> Enable faster rerecord.
The shortcut works for me without any issues, but I've also noticed that the microphone can take a while to load:
Solution - after enabling faster recording in the settings this problem has been resolved.

I've always maintained this view. It's noteworthy that other paid applications aren't as user-friendly as Whispering.
Perhaps the developer should consider monetizing his time and effort. A modest fee for Whispering could be introduced, similar to other apps: offer a free one-month trial, followed by a paid subscription. For intensive Text-to-Speech users, OpenAI Whispering easily costs around $10 per month.
A lifetime payment option could also be considered. Its user-friendliness sets it apart, and implementing a fair pricing model could ensure its sustainability while maintaining its competitive edge.

@quantumfrost00 does the issue persist when you delete all your past recordings? @rkhrkh brought this up in #285 and I think it is a common fix.
@rkhrkh really appreciate the support! I'm planning on keeping all major features completely free for the future. Will be careful in considering monetization; at most it will be for hosting or convenience. All paid features will ideally be completely reproducible for free if a user wants to do it themselves.
@quantumfrost00 could you confirm your issue persists when you delete past recordings?
Also @quantumfrost00 @rkhrkh , could I get some feedback if some issues have been fixed with the pre-release of v5.1.0?
