Does not work with ESP8266 NodeMCU

Greetings
I have three TM1637 0.56" Displays but none of them work with the ESP8266 NodeMCU. It simply turns the Led on the backplate but it doesn't show anything on the Display and this happens with other sketches for NodeMCU. (All work well with Arduino Uno). I've read something about these Displays and someone says this has to do with power and on the back of the Display board there is a problem with two Resistors and two SMD Capacitors. I would like any tips and/or solution; Thank you
