Unable to get past the choose setup screen.
Simply loads forever.

Using SteamRomate 0.0.10. Also no longer works with 0.3-alpha which has worked in the past.
Possibly steam has broken something?

Hello 👋

Could you please provide more information? Which setup is not working anymore? Only emudeck?

Only Emu Deck is not working.
I am able to use the Steam Assets and Desktop Files options without issue.
After selecting Emu Deck and clicking next, it will bring up the file browser to select the Emulation folder.
Once i select the Emulation folder and click open i return to the above screen where i become stuck as the next button remains a loading icon.

I think emudeck probably changed something in their config file, as this flow loads stuff from it : 😢

I've just released a new version with the fix, could you run Steam Deck Romate again and do some testing?

Wow thanks for the super fast fix!

I reran Romate again and it downloaded the updated version.
It now gets past the Setup screen.
I think there is a new bug though.
Some of the roms appear in multiple consoles. Which results in duplicate entries generated when saved.
For example my GBA, Genesis roms show up in Game Gear, GB, GBA, GBC, Genesis, Master System, NES, N64, PCE, PCECD, Sega CD and SNES categories.

This is happening due to the new emudeck setup, i am going to take a look tomorrow with more caution

BTW, which version are you using? 0.0.11 or 0.0.12?

One other thing, what is the name of your Golden Axe file(with extension)? and where is it located in your file tree?

@megamit, i got in touch with emudeck and SRM devs and this bug will require some time to fix, but i am on it with high priority 👍 ⏲️

Thanks for fixing this 🥳 This app is so much nicer to use than rom manager. Only pain is that the old short cuts have been left behind. Is there a quick way to delete them all?
