Since yesterday the integration will not initialize. I just get the error communicating with API message.

Reloading and restarting HA does nothing to change this.

Hi @asinla, is the same happening as the other day reported in #178? Anything in debug log?

Thanks @catsmanac but oddly it started working suddenly. I have no idea why. This weekend I will dig through some logs and see what I can find.
Am I correct in reading that the current version of Enphase API expires on the 30th of this month? And a new version will be released?

Have heard that before @asinla, it stopped working and suddenly it resumed like next morning or so. Also heard it where another application was getting get from Envoy as well and it had to be stopped to reset all communication.

That API expiring on April 30th is the Enphase Cloud API, not the Envoy API. We're not using that Cloud API.

Good to hear. Closing this one now.

That other app was a second home automation system running in parallel with Home Assistant also getting data from the Envoy.
