Project being abandoned or no longer actively maintained?

It looks like maybe the project is not actively maintained any longer. It would be useful to know if this is so. Perhaps a new maintainer could be considered? It is a great project and it would be wonderful to keep it active and supported.
I've been keeping up with PR's that are usable and have the intent of rewriting it to be a bit more efficient and add some functionality. Just haven't gotten to it. Is there something missing that you'd like to see?
Mainly, I am just wondering if project is going to be maintained or not. Tests seem to be failing, and I had a PR out there for some time that got no response, positive, negative, etc. So I figured I should ask if this is still a living project. I was also thinking if maybe I should just maintain my own fork, if it will no longer be an actively maintained project... As such, asking. :) Thanks a lot.
Yes, the project will definitely be maintained. I saw that PR and it's good but I'm going to do a rewrite and am going to redo all of the testing as well to make it a lot easier to maintain as well as add to when new functioanity is added. Apologies for the long timelines in between. I'll announce a new version sometime in the next 2 weeks. Thanks!
Thanks for clarifying. I am glad to hear that you will keep this effort going. If there's something I can do about PRs I submitted to make things easier, let me know.
