Setting: Adjust ease on startup

Per Ankiweb, automate adjusting ease on startup, for those who use mobile, save the manual option.
Related: an "Adjust ease for all decks" command would be useful.
Apologies for commenting on this somewhat older issue, but I was just wondering... based on these commits, is it right to assume this functionality was added? The commit message makes it sound like it should run whenever you close Anki, which would be perfect for me, who recently switched to mostly using mobile (AnkiDroid) for reviews. However, the message also suggests there should be an addon option for it, and it doesn't look like that is the case, or if there is, I cannot find it.
I also can't find the previously referenced "adjust east factor to performance" button (and someone on AnkiWeb said the same thing). These days, do I need to do anything in particular to make sure the ease factor gets updated after reviewing on mobile?
Sorry for the lack of clear updates. It looks like RisingOrange has a proposed fix, but I haven't been able to test any changes these last several months. (Long string of personal reasons, currently a fried motherboard, but mostly have had much more regular work.)
The adjust to performance option should be in the individual deck options on the PC version. It may only work with the most recent versions of Anki, and although I haven't seen an example of this, it could conflict with other add ons. Would love to figure out why it's not appearing for some.
Thank you for your reply!
Indeed, it was because I was using an old version of Anki (2.1.24), which I had stuck with for the purpose of add-on compatibility. However, now that I'm doing most of my reviews on mobile, that doesn't matter as much, and so I upgraded my Anki version (to 2.1.44). I see the "Adjust Ease Factors To Performance" option now, although it does not look like the auto-adjust for all decks option that RisingOrange's commit message suggested might be implemented is there, as far as I can tell. Ah, I guess that's because that is only a proposed fix, which won't be implemented until you test it out?
In case it's related to add-on conflicts like you speculated, these are the add-ons that I previously had on, but that are no longer active now that I have updated my Anki:
- Enhance main window
- Frozen Fields
- Progress Bar
- Trigger and actions change one card depending on what occurs on another card
are there any plans to merge this functionality at some point? i'm a mobile exclusive user and i'm worried that i'm going to forget to update it since it needs to be every day. having a feature where it runs on startup and close would be perfect since i'm always starting up anki anyways to make my cards.
Sorry xrishox, it pains me that I haven't been able to return to this project to test new patches because of work and family. I've put a warning on the main page as well, hopefully someone will pick up the project. If I return I would likely do a rewrite from scratch that would use more information to time reviews, and would love to see if there's any way to make this easier to use for mobile learners from the ground up.
Sincere apologies.
