Convert the readme into a table?

I think it'd be easier to navigate that way..I could've tried to do it (I don't know how, but there are probably docs) but i'm not sure if it would be wanted.
It's hard to say without seeing it. A lot of the markup right now is crafted to look decent according to the whims of GitHub's markdown renderer. If that markup changes completely, I don't think I can imagine what the end result is going to look like.
What are some of the ways it's difficult to navigate?

My bad. I didn't look at the examples. Examples make it easier to navigate.
Normal markdown (to a screen reader, software that turns text into speech for people who can't see) looks like a big wall of text, but the examples make it clearer, so thanks!
