Let's start for qutrit gates. I actually know nothing about qutrit gates. @bertacasas @AlbaCL could you give me a brief explanation?

The main tasks are to create some operators for qutrit gates and implement their representations too.
Something that is not yet worked out is that qubits and qutrits have (obviously) different physical dimension and you should not be able to concatenate qutrit and qubit gates in the same lane.
