Improve error message on plot.estimateEffect

Ideally we want to improve the error message when you try to push a date through. Basically the type check fails for cdata and it throws an opaque error. Need to add an else condition there to catch unknown types.

Similarly in type="Difference" we should have better error messages for when a covariate level doesn't match
