Hello KaiChu

Hope you are doing good.

I tried your extension to do some copying with ease and it's really working well. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

There are only a couple of things that i unfortunately couldn't do which are:

1. Giving the custom patterns a title.

2. Editing custom patterns.

The first one, sometimes i need to copy some commands and paste them in another application, so it would be really convenient and more organized to have a customized title for the custom patterns. Example: Task1: my.command title Task2 my.command [title](url)

The second one is the ability to edit a custom pattern because it's a pain to delete a custom pattern and create again just to do a small modification.

Please let me know what you think.

Thanks!

Hi, @54m4d

I am glad to hear that this extension has really been helpful to somebody.

  1. To be honest, I rarely have a need to modify the pattern I use myself, so the current method of operation can be quite cumbersome, as it requires deleting and recreating.
  2. I am very curious to know what level of organization is considered sufficient?

I think just the basic level of organization would be considered OK, like giving a name to the pattern, editing the pattern, and the ability to move the pattern (Up and Down) so that you can have the most used ones at the top and the others at the bottom as an example.

If the extension has these basic things i think it would be much less cumbersome to use it, and the user can save some time and clicks whenever there is a need to change the settings.

If it's not difficult to add these changes, maybe you can have a try..

Just an example:

Logically speaking, it shouldn't be excessively complicated, although the dissimilarities between the current Material UI design and this new one may necessitate some contemplation and additional time.

Oh sorry, my screenshot was just an example, the important thing in the screenshot is just the functions, you can totally ignore the design, actually, the design of your extension (Material UI) is a very nice one, so you don't need to touch the design at all.
