[Accessibility] [Android] [Visible Focus] [Password Screen] - Absence of visible focus with TalkBack enabled

Opened this issue · 0 comments

Describe the bug
When using the password input screen with TalkBack enabled, there is no visible focus indicator on interactive elements, such as the password input field and login button. This makes it difficult for users who rely on TalkBack to navigate and interact with the password screen effectively.

Severity: High - This issue impacts critical navigation and accessibility for users relying on screen readers, potentially blocking access to the login feature.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open the application on an Android device.
  2. Ensure TalkBack is enabled.
  3. Navigate to the password input screen.
  4. Attempt to navigate through the interactive elements (e.g., password input field, login button) and observe the lack of a visible focus indicator.

Expected behavior
A visible focus indicator should appear on each interactive element on the password screen to support navigation for users with TalkBack enabled.
