Search bar doesn't delete the previous search when entering a new search term

Hi!

I've come across this usability issue that I find a bit annoying, so I thought I'd report it.

When performing a search in charmhub for the second time, I would expect the text from the previous text to be deleted instead of having to either delete the search or click the "reset" button.
