It does not work for me for an existing ActiveRecord (just retrieved from the database), with the 'update' method.
(I try to update through the localized version yet errors occurs (numeric fields with commas are considered none numeric although I'm using 'fr' locale).
It does work for me for a new ActiveRecord.

Okay, sorry. I withdraw the issue. I understand I need to reissue the localized call every time I need to update with a hash.
