overrides native HTML support without actual support

I couldn't figure out why intellisense stopped working with HTML files, and just discovered it was due to this extension associating itself with .html files, even though there is no apparent support for .HTML in this extension.

Please remove this extension's association with .html, especially if it has no support for HTML syntax.
