Visual accessibility concern

It is hard to see on TUI with a background like make menuconfig nmtui yast.
fyi: tried frappé and mocha.

I'm also struggling with some color combinations. E.g. this text with green background ([success]) is not readable:

If you change the white color (color7 or color15, can't remember which) to something with more contrast, it's readable. But that's not really a solution, as the color variable is used in other places too. Don't know if there's a way to target colors with more specificity.
