As you see below, PANEL, TAB, RESIZE, ... is hard to read

I'm on zellij v0.40.1 and this is what zellij, on the macchiato flavor, with the interface locked, looks like:

It seems more readable than what your screenshot shows. Can you provide more details about your setup? Configuration, version, etc.
