- [ ]and- [x]nicely. The syntax highlighter already recognizes them but in proportional font they're not even the same width. - Allow toggling with mouse click.
The harder but more beneficial aspects of tasklists in sites that support them well are supporting toggling from rendered views (and emails), and summarizing ("1/3 done") in multi-doc overviews. But Mathdown has no rendered views and no doc lists (yet).

Missing any kind of tests. Low priority, not likely to write them anytime soon.
