General Build Questions for Project Designer

Firstly, thank you for such a cool project. All the info on this GitHub is invaluable.

I had trouble with the BOM with the "small crystal." Am I assuming it is a 16mhz crystal for the atmega32u4 keyboard? Please let me know the detailed MHz specs for the crystal, if possible.

I also was a bit confused about the 2k ohm resistors on the BOM because I assumed what goes in that space is the keyboard LED lights. Will most any 0603 LED work, or do you recommend a certain type?

I have a few more questions, is this a good place to collaborate on this build or do you prefer hackaday or another place?

Thanks again very much for this project! Let me know if you would like me to write an additional BOM that may be a bit easier to read and find parts for; I struggled with some of the JST connectors and pi connectors, as well as a few other components I said above.
