Since this requires interacting with a Shiny dashboard, I will most likely have to use RSelenium.

For some reason, the "completed" (testing) number is not rendering in headless Firefox (but runs just fine when headless mode is off).

Okay, sometimes even non-headless mode fails because the page fails the load correctly. Refreshing doesn't help since it brings you back to the main tab. Perhaps waiting prior to clicking the link to the new tab could help.
