Image modes e.g. dispersion/threshold show module artifacts

When viewing spotfinding steps it appears to show artifacts on/from the edges of the modules. Image_viewer doesn't show areas that are normally masked, so doesn't have this problem
Expected: The mask should continue to apply in these image modes
