Progress pop-ups

Consider small unobtrusive "slide-ups", i.e. small pop-ups that slide up out of the bottom right of the screen, do not block user input, and automatically slide back out of sight after a while. These pop-ups could be used to remind the user of certain milestones they have broken (like 2,000 words in a day or 50,000 words in a month). They should be completely user-configurable and can also be disabled to avoid violating the distraction-free principle.
