as none of the two commands under
is now needed in the container, the wording could be changed so that this whole paragraph would only be for VM (i.e. starting from "If you are using the VM, always use..." and
cmsrel ...) -
in "Download example EDAnalyzerscripts from this Github repository into a directory two levels below src/:" it might not be clear for those unfamiliar with git that the command - as it is given - already clones the thing two levels below src and there nothing more to do (e.g. creating dirs etc). Maybe have this in parenthesis, e.g. (
Test/MiniAnalyzer/in the command creates the two directory levels that are needed for CMSSW code to work) -
Is git clone for the MiniAnalyzer_CMSSW_10_6_30 repository OK also for 2015 data (the title says 2015 VM, ...)?

the last getting started with nanoaod link brings to https://opendata-qa.cern.ch/docs/cms-getting-started-nanoaod/ (i.e. Page not found). Remove
/at the end of the link.
@katilp on the question for 2015 -- yes, the code identical to what you get in 7_6_7, it can be used for 2015.
I can work on the rest of these
Maybe a remark then to tell users to change the input file and the GT for 2015.
The GT isn't explicitly invoked in this config anywhere, it's too simple. But I clarified that 2015 or 2016 MiniAOD files can be used.
