Define a set of reference design boards

Build a matrix of boards from major chip vendors suitable for reference design. The matrix should look similar to http://arduino.cc/en/Products.Compare. Select several boards from one vendor if there is a good fit. A matrix should also include dimensions, photo, and price. Hardware capability similar to https://developer.mbed.org/platforms/ , flash circa 16-64kb, RAM circa 1-8 kb range.
