Unfortunately, pip and pip freeze don't work nicely with unpublished packages. It's not that hard to publish to PyPI in 2017. Please, do us a favor!

@nikolay absolutely. I will re-work CI a little, so that it's much easier to release. Will let you know once that's done.

I have not done anything about it. Last time I checked, stacks package name was not available. @alekna feel free to take a look at this if you're keen.

Stacks are now on PyPi!

$ pip search cfstacks
cfstacks (0.4.6)  - Manage CloudFormation sanely with templates written in YAML

I will update documentation within the next couple of days.
