Act 2. "The saddle-node Hamiltonian section"

The section on the Saddle-Node Hamiltonian has a number of issues. None of the references render correctly.
None of the figure labels render correctly.
There are problems with figure captions and numbers in the text.
There is some weird text after eq. (13).
A lot of strange text just before the subsection “Implications for reaction dynamics”.
Testing solution used for Chesnavich Part 1 (#71 )
Everything fixed.
Removal of underscores from figure and equation labels in cross-references fixed rendering problem. This also implied to rename labels in the corresponding parts where these were defined for the first time.
Also, LaTeX syntax \textit had to be replaced with Markdown syntax. This can be perhaps done programmatically in the future.
