The use_binder_button is enabled.
I suspect it's because the base hostname in the config.yml file is wrong. I will come back with a solution soon.

SOLUTION
I just edited the Binder link settings in the _config.yml file to match our repo's name and branch used for deployment of the website.

That worked just perfectly!
