It's really weak. Needs to be worked on.

Patterns:
- C + qamets + C + hatef-qamets
Exceptions:
some words would seem to have an /o/ in the first syllable, but the masorah has a metheg, so it is not counted:
- qoṭeb (Hos 13:14)
- qādāšîm "sanctuaries" (Exod 29:37)
- instances of šoreš with a metheg
Acc. to Gesenius (§9v):
In all these cases the Jewish grammarians regard the Metheg accompanying the [Qāmeṣ] as indicating a Qāmeṣ raḥabh (broad Qameṣ) and therefore read the [Qāmeṣ] as ā; thus pā-olô, dā-rebān, pā-ŏlekhā, qā-dāšîm.
Though etymologically it should be an /o/ vowel, because the masorah indicates otherwise, I follow the text.
